For two nights only, Harwich’s historic Beacon Hill Fort transforms into an award-winning scare experience. Step inside dark tunnels, haunted woodlands, and decayed buildings as your worst fears are unleashed.

Deep within the fort, a deranged doctor has re-opened his long-condemned medical research facility. His twisted experiments on nightmares have gone horribly wrong… and now he needs YOU as his next willing volunteer.

What to expect:
A 30-minute walkthrough on a set route through both indoor and outdoor areas of the fort, packed with live actors, themed scenes and special effects. Reimagined for 2026 with a brand new route, new scenes and new scares.

When & Where:
Thursday 29th & Friday 30th October, timeslots between 6:30pm and 9:15pm

Important Info:
- Guests will be batched in groups of between 6 - 8 people to ensure the best experience.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your allocated timeslot.
- We expect the experience to last around 30 minutes.
- The event will go ahead in all weather, so come prepared. 

Please note:

• This event is not accessible to those with mobility issues. Guests must be able to navigate steps, uneven terrain, confined spaces and areas that require crawling.
• Not suitable for individuals with conditions triggered by jump scares, strobe lighting, latex, smoke effects or loud noises, e.g. heart conditions, asthma, photosensitive epilepsy, or severe anxiety.
• Participants must be aged 12 or over, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).
• Wear sensible footwear and appropriate outdoor clothing. Pathways may be muddy, and effects may transfer to clothing.
• For safety, running, touching actors, or leaving designated pathways is strictly prohibited. Guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be refused entry.
• No filming or photography inside the experience. Simple, non-bulky costumes are welcome, but no face coverings, fake weapons or props.
• All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
• This is an experience designed to scare. Guests attend at their own risk.
